Issues installing theme – ruined website - reply

I found a way to install the plugins and installed the GOSSIP theme without the content as I Want to use my existing content, however, the theme is broken, categories are broken, menu is broken, could you advise what I need to do to fix? I thought it was supposed to be simple?
