Thanks for the response Anamaria.
Since the Text with Image element buttons cannot scroll down can they at least be turned off? I have stripped them of all attributes and yet they still display a bright orange outline.
Can they be turned off?
Thx
I have implemented the above solution to configure an internal page anchor using the “Button” element and an Extra Class id and it works.
However, Is it possible to use the button in the “Text with Image” element and have that button scroll down to the lower element with the Extra Class id (Price Table)?
Thx
Thank you, the reinstall from the above links resolved the issue.
Thanks again,
Gary
Catalin,
This is precisely where I went to install the plugins in the new 9.6 version. As I said above, when I attempt to install the plugin from this location (from within “Admin>Newspaper>plugins”) it returns the following message.
“Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page”
Why would I not have permission to load a plugin? How do I get it to recognize me as a paid user? I have disabled then reset the Newspaper key. Other features of the theme upgraded to 9.6 just fine.
Thx,
Gary
If you cannot successfully see the third set of images sent to you then please send me instructions on how to get them to you. This website is unpublished and only exists internally on our development machines. That is why I have been sending you copies of screen shots from local drives and localhost. Perhaps a private email address where I can attach files is more appropriate since your software appears to be unable to traverse a path and pickup an image and attach it to a support request.
Thank you for understanding.
Gary

Sorry about the missing screen shots. Hope this works.

Thx,

Hi Calin,
The overall goal is to select a row in a grid and extract a stock symbol that causes it’s stock chart to be displayed.
In the image below labeled “desired goal”, you can see the way the final page should look. The red arrow shows a column text with a manually entered shortcode that displays a stock chart. This is correct.
In the next image labeled “code”, you can see the code entered into the Custom Code section in NewsPaper 9.1 to make this happen. The code works correctly and builds a string with the desired shortcode in the correct format to call the stock chart. This string is identical to the manually entered string above.
However, in the third image labeled “actual” you can see that even though the row selected is building a correctly formated shortcode…all that happens when it is programatically set in the column text is an echo of the shortcode string rather than an executed shortcode string that displays a stock chart.

Thanks,
Gary
Thank you for guiding me to the shortcode work around. The solution works fine on my site and I am now able to use shortcodes with column text elements.
Thanks for the prompt and accurate support. It’s greatly appreciated.
Thx
Catalin, I would very much like to be notified if a bug fix is released to solve the Shortcode issue described above. I have a row of elements containing shortcodes at the top of my site and all I can see is an echo of the code…BIG PROBLEM..!
Are the developers any closer to hinting at when a bug-fix-release may occur?
Thanks
