I simply want this homepage linked above on mobile devices instead of the AMP version.

I always applied the settings you mentioned and at the initially it worked, but not anymore. I cleared the cache many times, but nothing happens.

I already use the mobile theme and the cloud template. But since the amp home page is quite poor I decided to keep the mobile home with my customizations.
And it Worked using the action you suggested in the screenshot. But no anymore.
Are there other ways to view, on smartphone, the mobile page as homepage for smartphone and the amp pages for the other contents?

they solve my problem!.
for the other forum users: it was a problem due to the change of category base made with “.” in the permalink option of wordpress which is deprecated. Just use the option from yoast free version or some other plug-in and the problem is resolved.
