@arvindk, to prevent this make a quick backup first before updating. If this happens again you can quickly recover it.

I just learned other people in this forum have experienced the same. This theme is NOT compatible with WordPress 6.0.

Problem number 2:

No matter I have set up the custom ad with adsense code and the Javascript correctly. The ads are not displayed on locations pointed out with Tagdiv Composer using the Ad Box but when adding the Adsense code directly into the ‘Custom Ad Code’ field the ad is being displayed but in the wrong size.

There’s an issue with the templates. I have installed “Single Post Template 21”.

The comment section is set to “show for signed in users only”. It shows total comments and below a hyperlink “sign in to comment”. The template is ignoring the settings. I’ve tried to add codes on:

-functions.php
-comments.php
-wp_booster/comments.php
-Adding [hidetag] between rows in the template with td_editor is not working either.

The hidetag is a function that comes with “Paid Membership” plugin, a premium plugin that gives you the opportunity to hide particular sections, In this case I want to display the comments for paid members only for privacy reasons.

forget the “Unable to communicate back with site to check for fatal errors” part. It’s caused by one of my plugins.

So what I need to change is :

I’ve designed the template first in a page and copied the source in a post. However, after that editing the background image of the row is not possible. I need to create a full width row with a background image and replace the class”” with the new one.

Question, how to redirect the sign-up(the pop-up) to a particular page? I’m using a paid membership plugin so nobody can register without subscription.

They said:

We looked over this but we can’t make our add-on compatible, there’s nothing we can do on our side, they need to add the compatibility in the theme. Currently, they are breaking every other plugin that tries to add something on that page.

Your only solution is to disable the theme, do the changes you need and then put it back. The changes should stick.

additional information: It’s only Chrome the video is not playing anymore after the update. Testen on other browsers.

You can’t blame it on the plugins or something else. The moment I update the theme I received the http 500 error and it was time consuming to fix the issue.

fyi: I tried, issue the theme.

I want to thank Tagdiv for a great time but I am going to find an alternative to this theme. Imagine I was on holiday I would have lost a lot of money.

Don’t put an update if it has so much bugs(based on my experience and the posts I see here).

Close call, fixed the bug caused by Newspaper. My opinion remains the same.

Elevas don’t update,

After 1 hour talking with my hosting company they were not able to solve this.

Recovering data means data loss. So I had to recover todays data first. Then recover data of my latest backup to download the previous theme version. Downloaded the theme(took me 15 minutes). Then put the recovery of today back with the latest version of this theme. I’m now deleting the theme manually and then I will upload the previous version of the theme.. Theoretical that should fix the problem.

One thing is a fact I am going to find an alternative to Tagdiv. I am running a live website with paid members. I expect from premium developers not to make a new version available with bugs.

My rule, that will happen only one time and never again and by the way their support has never been so special. But that’s based on my experience.

OMG this is really bad you know my site is a paid membership. I normally make a copy before i update something except for this time and bamm I can’t get my http 500 error removed from my site.

Even Cloudways are not able to solve this :S

Same problem and my entire website is down. I’ve update an hour ago and bamm http 500 error. I followed all steps to get it back online but without success.
