Same here guys, I have already created a thread as I did not see this one.
This is really annoying when you want to control SEO.
Any solution for this ?
Maybe using some hook creating a child theme ??

Hi there
1 – I got to https://www.flaticon.com/ and I choose an icon.
2 – Click on the icon and you’ll see 2 green buttons. PNG or SVG.
3 – Download the icon as SVG
4 – Open the icon and click right to view the source (CTRL + U)
5 – Copy the code and paste inside tag div

I suppose there are other methods but this one get the job done for 5 icons I needed.

Hi Calin and thanks for replyin.

I read in the doc and just realized yesterday night it is possible to build our own categories templates using the cloud and importing blank template.
I didn’t know this was possible but this is brilliant !

This is more than enough for me to not having to create 301 redirect for each category page.

Nevertheless is it still possible to delete categories tags and author tags using solutions you provided to me ?

What about theme updates ? Do they overwrite those codes edition once updated ?
