There’s no clild theme, all plugins disabled & kept only TagDiv Composer plugin active, still no font awesome icons appearing .

About 2 years ago i heard about W3TC, may be it’s free & having bunch of features included – so i went to try it & 🙁 too many individual features to handle with. Even some of my fav. top bloggers also suggested W3TC features should only be used when you’re completely aware of your customization, little mistake can create great trouble.
Last year after hearing about WP Rocket from most of the top bloggers reviews i gave it a try – too much user friendly functions to tweak website. Since it works fine with Newspaper & for it’s supports – never felt necessity to look around for another cache plugins.

Ya, my AMP issue is sorted out, just having some minor doubts to be cleared from devs, waiting for their reply there.

I’m using WP-Rocket plugin & it’s having no issue with 9.6’s mobile theme 🙂

by editing the code to “$theme_options = get_option( ‘td_011’ );” all AMP error warnings are removed, so is this a temporary fix or this fix will come inbuilt in new version of newspaper (so that we’ll not need to do anything else later for this) ?

Regarding Adsense ads I was talking about Adsense overlay anchor ads (which remains stuck at mobile screen). Just check the screenshot: . I’ve already inserted AMP auto ads, but AMP auto ads doesn’t show overlay ads i guess (as it can’t be set from adsense account settings) . .
So, my question on this is if someone opens the site in mobile, then the normal url (https://www.mytechnopedia.com)open which doesn’t show overlay ads due to AMP is active there native, can’t I set the mobile view & AMP view via different URL ? Means if a visitor opens site via mobile he’ll open https://www.mytechnopedia.com by default which shows overlay ads (NO AMP), but if he with/comes via google search he can see AMP view at https://www.mytechnopedia.com/amp/, means DIFFERENT URL FOR MOBILE & AMP VIEW , so this way adsense results can be better i guess 🙂 .

Currently I’m just having 2 issues remaining :: please help in sorting these out 🙂

1. GOOGLE ADSENSE OVERLAY ADS: Problem is while the “SHOW ON AMP” is turned off all the ads are visible as usual along-with overlay anchor ads (which stuck on screen): just like this: . That’s fine, but when the “SHOW ON AMP” option is enabled, then the overlay anchor ads aren’t coming: like this: . On mobile template i had edited the template file to insert Google Auto-ads inside <header> area, that’s why probably all types of ads are appearing on (while AMP Off), so is there any possibility to make google overlay ads appear on AMP too ? o.O I’ve already added “Adsense auto-ads for AMP” on it’s specific option, but that’s not showing overlay ads (may be it’s usual), so just want to be clarified 🙂 as you know it affects on revenue
2. AMP ERROR: After enabling amp I’ve found some error warnings under AMP settings:
   AMP Validated URLS: Check the error: https://www.upload.ee/image/9684357/validated_urls.jpg, there’re many options available like clear cache,recheck,forget – what should i do to fix this?
   AMP Validation Error Index: check the error: https://www.upload.ee/image/9684356/error.jpg, there too options available like clear cache, accept, reject . What should i do here ? (i’m unaware of these issues, so wanna know.

So, please help to solve the above mentioned issues, then i’ll be issue-free state with 9.6 🙂 Thank you.

Thanks for your guide, it worked fine & the Mobile theme’s CSS customization option helped me to stylize WPForms on mobile theme as well 🙂

I nowhere said i’m completely disappointed with the theme just for some minor reason, i’ve been using Newspaper since years & i’d love using it in future as well, just getting some issue with 9.6 update, which seems to be gonna sorted out with this reply. 🙂

You’ll need to uncheck the “SHOW ON AMP” (2nd screenshot) to make those options visible .

The error only comes when the mobile theme is disabled on AMP: https://prnt.sc/mvrm3e

To sort out this error for now, goto https://www.yourwebsite.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=amp-options ,
You’ll possibly see that the TEMPLATE MODE is selected is “Paired”, that option’s creating the issue, so set it to classic, it’ll solve your issue. . .
