I am interested in this question. @Calin, the answer you have provided is instructive but I have one problem which is that I cannot see the tagDiv Composer as soon as I navigate away from the home page. The implication is that I cannot edit posts with tagDiv Composer. Secondly, Editors on my website are not presented with the tagDiv composer.

The solution you have provided seems not to be a one-off solution. By this I mean whether modifying the blockquotes affects any other future posts where it is used. Or one has to always modify the blockquotes for every new post? Thanks

In fact, I should mention that the tagDiv Composer is not always available I am not sure why. I read somewhere that tagDiv works with cloud templates. Not sure of the implication of this for my post that I created by myself. I cannot edit them using tagDiv because that editor is almost always not available even as Editor and Admin of the site. The tagDiv appears only available when editing the home page. It disappears when I navigate away from the homepage. See screenshot of a single post template without tagDiv editing feature

Sorry, I am not referring to the first screenshot you shared. I am referring to this I am not referring to subtitles for blocks. I am simply referring to a subtitle that appears under the main news title.

You are not answering my questions fully. Is the tagDiv Composer post editor not available to a person working as an editor instead of an Administrator? For instance, I was able to add subtitle in TagDiv Composer editor but under the role of an Editor, I do not have access to the TagDiv Composer Editing environment. Question is how does an Editor add subtitle then? This is not about blocks, please. It is about a subtitle under a major news title. See the screenshot it says “The text will appear under the title.” Thank you.

One would not normally ask a question if he has not tried out something. I am aware of the location of where to addsubtitle within the post-editor. My query is that the subtitle does not show up whether for panel, default or single post template. When you emphasise Singl post template, do you mean subtitle does work for other posts templates?

For the avoidance of doubt, I have changed the posts to a single post template and even a new post based on the single post template and added the subtitle, yet the subtitle does not show under the main title of the post. See screenshot

Please, note that I am creating a post under the role of an Editor, not an Administrator so the other option of using the Tag Div composer to edit the post and add subtitle is not available to me. If this option is the only way it means other Editors cannot simply add subtitles to their posts?
So my issue is not resolved.

Thank you very much. The result is as expected. I am using the Newspaper theme for the first time so I need some time to find my way around.

Lastly, on this ticket regarding filtering, I am wondering if there is a way to display a hierarchical category such that a visitor does not need to reach the end of each sub-category before the next sub-category is displayed. For instance, if subcategories have more than 50 posts each, it will be cumbersome for visitors to reach the last sub-category if they have to flip through all the posts in the first sub-category that is displayed. I hope you get my point.

For example, I have a category Specialised Publications

with 2 subcategories (Change makers, Portraits of Patriots) of more than 20 posts. When visited, a reader sees all the 20 posts in the first sub-category that is displayed before she gets to the second subcategory. I think there should be a way of displaying without necessarily creating a dropdown menu. Thank you.

I do not think it is the case of alignment. Practically speaking, if you visit the website, go to the pop-up menu and click the categories Lagos legends (has 3 posts), In loving Memory (has 2 posts), Abuja: Builders & Reformers/Updates & Trends (has 1 post). All these categories I have listed are not displaying their corresponding post. The question is why these categories are not displayed. I need to resolve this issue for my client.

Secondly, the category Peculiar People has 5 posts, but only 2 are displayed when clicked. I do not understand this kind of anomaly.

The Change makers and the Portraits of Patriots categories are displaying just fine. They have over 15 posts each. I wonder if there is a minimum number a category should have before posts under it can be displayed. I hope I am clearer this time. Thank you

Of course they have been opening. I have cleared my cache though. The problem is that the posts that opened are not under the Lagos Legends Category. It rather seems to me that the Category module of the Theme is not working as it should. The reason why one wouldd have to categorise is because posts under the same category can be displayed to the visitor. Do you get the problem I am trying to point to you now?
