OK, we did a test on the thumbnail links on the home page. I asked the client to open the thumbnails on the home page in a new window: the file name indicates that they are 324*160 on their PC (I don’t know what display resolution), while the ones we display on Mac (Retina) are 648*320 pxls.

Does this directly depend on the display resolution detection?

They say that Incognito browsing has the same problem…

Thanks Bettina but, as I explained, the display is incorrect ONLY on some devices (we see the site correctly, from a different network). You can also note that the images uploaded are of adequate quality. https://ibb.co/BHqPpxPG

What I ask is if there could be configuration details that we have missed…

Thank you

Hi, I’m reposting this thread because the problem has started to appear on our site iegexpomagazine.com for a few days

We followed ALL the instructions already reported (modal, lightbox, disabling plugins, etc.) but without any result. I would like to point out that the images used in the posts are on our server (no external URL), but the error occurs constantly. It is obviously very frustrating.

We have just sent you an email to be able to investigate the problem from the back-end (with access to the site and cPanel).

Thank you

Another strange behavior: switching to the Home Page edit, the thumbnails are all correct and defined… :-/

We are checking the pagination of the archived posts and we have noticed that from page 2 the thumbnails improve in definition and quality.

We don’t understand why…

No, unfortunately the images are low resolution (really annoying problem), both from desktop and mobile browsers (FireFix + Safari on MBP + Safari iPhone). Please look at the attached zoom

We restored the entire original database and regenerated the thumbnails, with no noticeable results

A real “tragedy”: layout… destroyed after updating to 12.6 (we use a child customization). We updated the php, carefully checked every parameter, disabled and reactivated the plugins but there was nothing to be done. In the end we fixed it with an old backup on the server (from mid-August), returning to 12.5.1 and obviously losing the activities implemented in the last month, but at this point we are waiting for a further update that will resolve this very serious problem!

OK, it works! 🙂

Thank you

Hi,

in the changelog of the latest version we read “fix: Twitter new logo”, but after the update we didn’t notice any changes (the old profile with the “bird” continues to appear).

What’s going on?

Thank you… hopefully soon! 😉
