I think the issue is with the Newspaper stretched headers. If you can, test the 1600 and 1800 and increase the main menu font to 20-ish.

Hi Bogdan, I’m running the latest Newspaper 8.8 and tried the example id. That’s why I’m unsure what the issue it. Instagram is working fine.

1- Using Composer, how would I select a unique sidebar for different WooCommerce single product pages?

As far as other pages:

2- I see Composer working for the main WooCommerce pages like: Shop, Checkout, Cart.

3- But not for Single Product pages or My Account page.

4- How My Account works with the interlinking tabs, it doesn’t seem possible to use Composer.

Right… but then you can no longer use the default WooCommerce templates. And you or Simione already stated that Newspapers focus isn’t on WooCommerce.

So why inhibit the functionality of WooCommerce?

Was there something specific that the link you supplied me addressed with WooCommerce?

Some feedback on the support answers that you give. Pleas try and supply more thought out answers. To me it seems that you’re just banging through support tickets to get them done. And I get it. It’s probably not the most thing to do. But answers that don’t solve customers problems is just a waste of time for everyone.

If you stretch the main menu and increase the font

Header Style:

Style 2 – Multipurpose

Force Full Width:

HEADER ⇢ LOGO AND AD SPACE = stretch container and 1600px content

HEADER ⇢ MENU = stretch container and 1600px content

Font Settings:

MAIN MENU = Size 26px

Then add a couple menu items…

Hi Simion, I did some preliminary tests of Composer and the WooCommerce shortcodes… Using the shortcodes in Composer doesn’t seem to be easy. Composer breaks the CSS and weird design issues come up.

I know Newspaper isn’t a WooCommerce focused theme, but when Composer hinders the use of a core plugin that is developed by WordPress (WooCommerce) I start to raise an eyebrow. And I’m not only speaking about this issue.

When Composer is enabled it disables sidebar selection on a page per page use case. Even on pages that aren’t being developed with Composer. It just doesn’t make sense from my perspective.

Just my thoughts.

So some elements are supported by the Theme Panel settings and some are not?

It’s the Pinterest element, not instagram. It seems like it should be straight forward to use. I was just wondering if it should work on localhost or if you knew of any common issues with it.

One other question about TagDiv Composer elements and Theme Panel Font settings (color and size etc.).

When working with elements in TagDiv Composer, do any of the Theme Panel font settings effect the elements, or do all elements need their font size and color changed individually with each element when added to a design?

I guess I’m trying to understand what global Theme Panel font settings also change the elements in TagDiv Composer.
