Should this CSS still work for showing captions below images in posts?

Thanks!

Can what images are loaded in the top post be controlled? I can’t find anything about it in the documentation. Thanks!

Also… I seems like there is 2-4px more margin or padding on the left.

Nevermind… for some reason the images were set two square in the media panel.

I’m actually have this same issue now. I upload the default sized images per theme panel and they appear square on the frontend.

hello… is there a way to add padding to the left and right of the top menu. My links are currently right up against the edge of the page.

Thanks!

Alin,

I tried to modify the settings (in the screencast) before making this post. I’m unable to change those settings. I can’t highlight them, delete them… I can’t change them.

Thanks

Junior,

I’ve used several themes from different developers. I have to say; these guys at TagDiv with their Newspaper theme are doing things right.

This is one of the best documented themes with video and pics to assist along the way. Yes the documentation could be a bit more clear, but it’s pretty good. It’s also one of the most and from what I’ve found, bug free themes.

Stick with it (Newspaper and WordPress), read the documentation, try to understand the Newspaper theme and WordPress and learn WordPress (wordpress is its own beast), click on things, change things in the theme panel and save… see how it changes your theme.

If you’ve never worked with WordPress or a theme it’s going to take you time to understand what does what.

You invested into an amazing theme with great support. I have no doubt you’re going to figure it out and have an amazing website. Best of luck!!!

Thanks again. Last question… hopefully… Is there a way to make a separate setting for portrait mode and landscape mode.

Using these settings… When it looks good in portait mode, it looks bad in landscape mode.

Thanks!

Alin, Thanks for the quick response. A -60px seemed to work for me, I’ll have to experiment with different size images to make sure it’s consistant.

One problem I ran into was on Mobile. When in portrait mode, the caption still covers the image, when in landscape it looks similar to desktop viewing.

Is there css specifically for portrait mobile?

Thanks in advance.

Modal Images meaning “Lightbox”.

Thanks for the replies. I just want to create my own image and have it link to a certain page on my site. Unless I’m missing something gin the documentation… I don’t see how to do this?

So I need to know:
1) Image size recommendations or restrictions
2) How to link to the image
3) How to make the image clickable

Thanks!

Andrei,

The issue seemed to resolve itself. If I reoccurs I’ll update this thread.

Thanks for the response.
