What is the best way to update from 6.3 to 6.6.4?
Also, will I lose all the customization?

a good way to update is to make sure we have a backup of everything and we know how to restore a website if things get messed up somehow. Here are the details, I usually go with option A but C seems legit too:

What do you mean with customization? If you mean the settings you changed in the theme panel, those are usually kept since they are in the database. The social counter widget though, sometimes disappears from the sidebars.
If you mean changing php, js, css files, then yes those are lost. The whole folder “Newspaper” in wordpress is replaced in the process. If you did that, a program like http://winmerge.org/ is very useful.

@nf_prt provided an accurate answer regarding the update please make this right like it is specified in the documentation and also update the plugins provided with the theme from /plugins folder – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ If you have custom modifications to the theme files you will need to re-add them as all the files will be overwritten, but the theme/wordpres settings should not be affected. Anyway it is recommended to make a full backup of your current installation – https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Backups
