Hi,

You don’t have to purchase these plugins: as for the WPBakery Visual Composer, just deactivate it, delete it and then, reinstal lit from the theme plugins tab.

As for the Slider Revolution, it’s packaged inside your Newspaper pack/folder. You can upload and activate it through FTP or, as indicated here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-install-revolution-slider-v5/

Category page: hide category labels if a category doesn't have subcategories - reply

I was thinking about something more “automated”, so labels wouldn’t be shown if no subcategories exists, and they would if they exist.

As for now, I will adopt your suggestion on using another category template for those with no subcategories, but it would be nice to have a more automated way to achieve this (as if in a near future I add subcategories to some of my categories, I will have to change manually the category template, which is a little bit annoying).

Hi!

Do not feel like an idiot: you’re just asking what you don’t know:-)

As for the child theme, you just need to upload to your /wp-content/themes folder both themes, main theme and child theme (unzipped). Then, just activate child-theme (NOT main). Et voilà: you can use it as you would normally do.

To make it clear: upload and activate child-theme unzipped folder, as you would do with any other other theme but, in this case, you need to upload (but NOT activate) the main theme, too.

Hi there!

Would you be so kind to tell how did you resolve it? I am facing the very same problem since today, and I don’t know how to fix it (I have even tried by installing the main theme folder again, as I ma working with the child one- but it hasn’t worked).
