I know this is a weird case. In this case we are detecting on our end when we want to trigger the login pop up. We want to trigger the login popup with our code using JS. Is there a JS function we can call to trigger the login pop up?

Second option could be to create a new modal pop up using TagDiv. Is there a easy way to trigger the modal pop up in this case with custom JS, using a built in TagDiv function?

example for certain users we want to trigger the pop up ourselves.
window.onload = TagDivPopupTrigger;

In this situation we need to be able to trigger the pop up automatically on page load but only for certain users. Using the page load trigger does it on all pages no matter who you are so that wont work.

We were hoping to tie into the already existing JS function that opens the pop up when we need to trigger the login modal? We would do this on our end with a script. I’ve tried triggering a click to the login link with JS but that doesn’t behave the same way as an actual user click.

Hello,

I just tested the NP12 update and that does fix the flyout menu problem we were seeing that you couldn’t replicate earlier so that is good. We are still seeing the problem regarding mobile theme/AMP. Do you have an update on this?

Mobile theme enabled (for mobile and AMP)
• AMP enabled (only for posts)
• Newspaper 11.5.1+
• PHP 8.0
• WordPress 6.0.2
• Child theme enabled (blank from the plugin core with no modifications)
• A page that has the mobile theme manually turned off. This page should default to use the responsive theme but is broken.

I would like to add another issue to this. Pages set to not use the mobile theme in the individual page settings are completely broken. It appears no styles are loaded. This appears to be from using a child theme, when you switch to using the main theme the issue goes away.

Details:
• Mobile theme enabled (for mobile and AMP)
• AMP enabled (only for posts)
• Newspaper 11.5.1
• PHP 8.0
• WordPress 6.0.2
• Child theme enabled (blank from the plugin core with no modifications)
• A page set to not use the mobile theme should be using the responsive theme but is broken.
