It will be great If i get “LAST MODIFIED DATE” code too.
I have done POST DATE UPDATE by following this tutorial: techprevue.com/show-last-updated-modified-date-newspaper-theme/

Now, I want to do that for my each PAGE. How can apply similar process for PAGES too?

Page date will work same way that a post date work. Isn’t? If so, Can you give me that code? I want to add date my pages.

@Catalin I didn’t understand and didn’t find similarity of the solution. I want to show date for my PAGES(Not POSTS). So, I need to edit and add date functionality for the pages(page template). After that I can add/edit those code to show “modified date”. Isn’t or I am missing anything here?

So, without implementing publish page date code how can i add “last modified date” code?

I am surprised that why this is not available for Pages! They should add this with pages too. I am not comfortable to use any 3rd plugin for this.

1) I cannot disable author from blog posts(Excerpt post). I guess, it is not possible with existing settings.

2) Yes, waiting for next update.

3) I have checked that solution. But, suggesting Plugin will not work here. That will only update sidebar post date.
But, I need every post date update.

And for other solution. I do not want to edit code. It will be pain because almost every month newspaper theme update their theme. It will be pain if i edit internal theme code.

It will be better if you share those suggestion with theme coder.

Thank you for your answer. I understand that. I need to replace with update theme.
My only concern will it change any existing settings after update the theme?
If not then i will do this.
