Do you use WPML bilingual?
I’ve updated the theme, I can’t disable WPML as Chinese is a core functionality of this site, which has hundreds of pages.
All the posts in English display as video posts, all the posts in Chinese display as images only. httv.us is the domain.
Even when I create a new video post in Chinese, it will not work. Nor when I create a new post in English then translate to Chinese. Nothing else has changed in the background except WordPress updating automatically, and me updating newspaper to the latest version. I don’t have automatic plugin updates, etc…
Are you a representative of Tagdiv?
I understand what you’re saying, but what I don’t understand is how it could have happened from updating wordpres alone — the only thing that automatically updates is the version of wordpress, that’s it… I’ll wait for a representative from tagdiv who can login with FTP and have a look at what’s going on. This might be an issue they are unaware of… If you have a solution, let me know.
Ok, so now I’ve fixed the first issue, but it’s not yet fixed on mobile. Where’s the code I need located to do the same fix I applied for mobile?
Thanks!
Thanks Emil, I was able to get it to work perfectly! Appreciate the help guys 🙂
Appreciate your answer! I have one small question, but if it’s too specific please ignore this message. If I know the proper variable, I can do it myself. I know that $td_category->catID is the cat number (ie 62), and that get_category_link returns the full link (ie http://httvus.net/en/category/episodes/crepisodes/), but in $td_category, is there a value for just the last part of the link, in this case, just “crepisodes”? If I have that, it would be very easy for me to generate the proper static links.
Really appreciate your help!
Ross
Thanks for your prompt reply Bogdan!
For the sake of clarity, I want to change these links on the side to static information pages, while keeping the video content as it is (generated automatically from post categories): http://www.screencast.com/t/MIyGRNhy2iC
Not the links to the videos themselves. Is that the line you pointed towards, or is the line a few above which also generates links?
Thanks!
