@jayway, mine finally was able to update by going to the theme itself and click on update there. After check for updates it appeared just now. Hopefully for you too.

Is it a gradual release? The theme shows I am up-to-date and no updates are visible. This while the composer is still on the vulnerable version.

Thanks a lot that was indeed the plugin, I guess the feature of combining some scripts gave the error. It now works again 🙂

I kept looking and the network part of inspect element shows that mode-less.js and text.js give error 404. The internal files return those files however and both in the td-composer directory. wp-content/plugins/td-composer/css-live/assets/external/ace/mode-less.js and wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/wp-admin/external/ace/snippets/text.js to be exact. Could this be the problem? If so what might be blocking the access?

It is indeed not a huge problem, but a few of our visitors mentioned a lot of white so we wanted to see if we could do something about that.

Thanks both of you, I thought it was, but as it appeared on category specific pages immediately I thought it might not be the case. I now exempted the front page and it seems to be working 🙂

Another followup what I noticed it only appeared for me when I was logged in.
