I think you have not understood me, or perhaps I have misunderstood.

I use the tagdiv mobile plugin, and I want to keep using it because it makes the posts faster on mobiles.

I want the category pages to be responsive, to avoid using the default categories in tagdivmobile

Can I do it?

Hello Calin,

Thanks for help. Its not a page, it is a Category. ¿Can I do this Category responsive? Even if I use the tagdiv movile plugin?

My category is a Cloud template, in PC looks very nice but in Mobile not…. because this cloud template cant use in mobiles. Now, whith the new version, can I use this cloud template of this category in mobile too?

How?

Thanks

Good morning Calin,

Yes, I actually had that code in the wrong place. I have already eliminated it:

https://fotos.subefotos.com/10a5f70be7a029b913ca4e74721e2fb6o.jpg

But, the problem remains the same:

https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fsoyungato.com%2Fcomo-mudarse-con-un-gato%2F

https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fsoyungato.com%2Fsida-en-gatos-inmunodeficiencia-felina%2F

All posts have the same problem.

Is it a good idea to forget functions.php and use htaccess?

Hello @Calin,

Thanks for help me 🙂

Ok, I put this code in functios.php theme and mobile. And I add this extra code becouse Google Page Speed say me. The final code is:

// Preload Newspaper fonts for responsive theme (main theme)
function dns_prefetch_responsive()
{
echo '<link rel="preload" href="https://soyungato.com/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/images/icons/newspaper.woff?19" as="font">';
echo '<link rel="preload" href="https://soyungato.com/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/assets/fonts/td-multipurpose/td-multipurpose.ttf" as="font">';
echo '<link rel="preload" href="https://soyungato.com/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/images/icons/mobile-theme.woff" as="font">';
}
add_action( 'wp_head', 'dns_prefetch_responsive', 0 );

But now, Google Page Speed say:

Warnings: A preload ‘link’ element has been found for “https://soyungato.com/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/images/icons/mobile-theme.woff&#8221;, but the browser has not used it. Check that the crossorigin attribute is being used correctly.

I dont know how to fix it. Any idea?

Thanks

Hello @Calin,

Yes, I do it in functions (theme) and functios (mobile)

mobile

So, not run 🙁

Jose

Thanks a loty @Calin,

I am trying these things out, but they seem to have no effect on my website. Maybe I’m doing it wrong (most likely I’m doing it wrong, actually).

How can I add rel=preload for this problem, in the funcions.php file? I’m reviewing Amit’s publications, I think they are very interesting, but for some reason they don’t work on my website.

I do it:

Removing Font Awesome
Removing Emojis
Removing other scripts
Mobile theme optimization

from de guide: https://www.infophilic.com/get-almost-100-pagespeed-newspaper-theme/

But I have the problem again, in may website soyungato.com (I never try the homepage, I only try articles/posts)

I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I followed all the steps, but they don’t work.

Can you please help me?

Jose

thanks, i will try these guides 🙂

I think the development team should review these speed issues. You should keep in mind, that Google increasingly values fast sites. The loading speed is becoming more and more important.

Google has officially announced that, at the beginning of 2021, the loading speed will be one of the main factors of ranking / positioning.

Cheers!

Hello @Calin,

Thanks for reply. I have tried this code but it does not work. So I have inserted it in “custom css” too, but it doesn’t work either.

Is it possible that I need a different code?

Example of a url: https://soyungato.com/alzheimer-en-gatos/

Thanks

Thanks Vlad S,

But, I want the name of the author to be displayed. But without a link, is it possible?

Hello @Vlad S

It only works with the upper corners, not the lower ones.I have tried several values, but it does not work well.

6px 6px 0px 0px
6px 6px 6px 6px
10px 10px 10px 10px….

The image seems to round the top corners, but the bottom of the box is not rounded.

Hi @Calin,

Im here again…. :/

I don’t know where to correct this problem. The tops of the images are round, this is fine. The bottom of excerpt is now square (corner).

How can I make it round?

Where is my mistake?

Jose

Yeah, now yes 🙂

Thank you very much for the explanation and help, now I understand.

Have a nice week!

@Calin,

I think there is a communication error.

I’m using that block, aesthetically it’s perfect.

But I need to be able to select a single category to display in that block. How do I do that?

Have a nice weekend

Jose
tagDiv Member

But, with a flexible block can I get the same look/feel? I like those rounded corners.

Thanks @Calin

Jose
tagDiv Member

I am putting these blocks on my homepage, I want each block to be from a different category (each horizontal line).

But in the block configuration options, I don’t see the option to select a particular category.

How can I do this?

Jose
tagDiv Member

Hello @Calin,

Sorry, I think I expressed myself badly (my English is not good).

What I want, is to be able to keep this nice design, but choose which category is shown. That is, to show the articles of a specific category. Is it possible?

Jose
tagDiv Member

Hi @Calin,

I see the problem that I cannot select categories to display. How can I do it using this visual aspect?

Jose
tagDiv Member

Yeah! Thanks a lot Calin 🙂

Do you plan to add a code option for tagdiv mobile plugin in the future?

Cheers
