Is there any timetable (+ -) when we can expect a new version? it may not be exactly, approximate.

Hello Calin, we found in newest version Newspaper two new bugs.
On both we created thread. In first thread was answer little faster, and wrote same answer as you.

Hi, when we open “Single Post Layout” and edit via TDEditor, and clicked on social icons and set different style(look) so in editor is showed new style. But when we clicked on button “Save” and after look on front-end our website, so here are still showing default look. This is second bug what we found in Newspaper 10.1 with DefaultPro without demo data.

We created for you two screenshots,
on first screenshot you can see that we set different Social Button Style,
and on second screenshot, you can see that on front-end are still ssame default style from importing.

This bug is here only, if we imported “DefaultPro without demo date”.
If we imported “DefaultPro with demo data”, so this bug not exist.

((( And same situation is with our first founded bug, not working Leave Comment button. If we imported “DefaultPro without demo data”, so not work, and if we imported “with demo data” so it works. )))

And same problem is with social icons – when we imported DefaultPro Layouts without demo data, so changing social icons style not works – when we click in TDEditor on any other style, so on single layout is still same.

It looks that with Newspaper 10.1 is something bad. Because all works correct if we imported “defaultpro with demo data”, but when we imported “defaultpro without demo data” so exist here these two bugs.

I can provide for your administration login (nick and password) if you want look why “Newspaper DefaultPro Layout without data” have not working button “Leave reply”.
This website is completly clean (fresh WordPress 5.3 in EN-US language with fresh Newspaper 10.1 without StandartPack).

Here is clean installation WordPress 5.3 + clean Newspaper 10.1 (without StandartPack) with imported DefaultPro layout without demo data. Only additional we imported all 9 layouts.

And when you look on default wordpress post Hello World: https://test.alfmag.com/2019/11/17/hello-world/
So on bottom are two buttons Leave Reply.
When you click on Leave Reply as answer on one existing comment – so this button works.
But when you click on Leave Reply as new comment – so this button not works.

And when we again uninstall “defaultpro with data” and import “defaultpro without data” so button again stop works.
Now is on domain “test.alfmag.com installed defaultpro without demo data” and button doing nothink.

and when we tested it on localhost, with imposting DefaultPro with demo data, so this bug not exist.

Now I found, that on Mobile View, button works.
But on Desktop View, not.
Maybe this help you. Please help, how we can fix this bug.

Or I must completly delete ftp+database, and create again new clean wordpress installation?
I need know this information, because we want start our new website with Newspaper with DefaultPro but without bloatware from “additional data”.
I prefer import only layouts without this “additional data”.

so now in Newspaper 10.1 is not imposible if we want start use clean WordPress with clean Newspaper (without StandartPack) how this set? Ok.

And is +- know, when will be released update, where will be this fixed?

We can wait and because we prefer start with new website without any aditional plugins etc., so we have not problem wait.

Could you ask developers in what timeframe this update is possible?
We don’t need to know exactly the day.
We just need information, if will be within for example a week, two, month, two, etc.

Yes we have installed clean WordPress + clean Newspaper 10.x with demo DefaultPro (without data)

So for us is mainly set logo images in header and footer only via – cloud templates? ..and we not must set these logo images via theme panel? right?

Hello Calin, so if we will be using default Newspaper 10.x Default Pro with default images size so for us is best posting featured images with “1068px X …” right?

If yes, please, with theme Newspaper is better using aspect ration in images 16:9 or 4:3 etc?

For example in theme ElegantThemes Extra and Divi we using 4:3 because in this theme is it recommended aspect ratio.

Or if not exist option how add on place for Review stars

We using in all category LAYOUT number M9.
And in this layout are review stars on possition for date.
This location is ok, we only want delete stars from Review and add on this location stars from Rating.
