Hi,

I increased the memory via wp-config to 192MB and activated TD Composer. Same result: I receive an 500 Error instantly.

Short Update: Visual Composer Button is also not displayed in post/pages anymore – but at least the backend is reachable when the plugin is activated.

Hi DaveS,

I use newspaper for years now and set my external links via plugin to rel=”nofollow”. I am currently using “WP External Links” for that.

Hi Catalin,

I would really like to try out and switch to TD Composer. But unfortunately I used VC Composer for pages and posts. Using both composer is not possible. But as TD Composer is exclusively for pages I can not use it to recreate my posts with it.

How would you proceed in my case? Any suggestion helps?

Norman

Hi Chris,

thanks for answering again. Especially as you are not working here and do it on your spare time 😉

AS tagdiv composer can not be used for posts (ONLY pages)
I can not simply switch off visual composer
AND start using tagdiv composer
because I would ruin the look & feel of all of my posts.

Or do I oversee something and tagdiv composer is also useable for posts?

Norman

Hi,

BUT the tagdiv composer only works for pages, NOT for posts. So how should we even switch?

Thanks for the reply. I get that I can’t use both composers on the same page. But right now I can’t even activate both plugins without having errors on my website.

So it is definitely not possible to:

1) only use VC on all old posts and just leave them as they are
and
2) start using tagdiv composer on every new post?

I really do have to recreate and republish everything in my site again?
In that case I cant’t switch. I just can’t recreate everything from the scratch. Even if it takes just 3-5 minutes per post/page it would cost me several days.

Norman

Hi,

I have the same issue on my site. Just activating the tagdiv composer leads to errors in all of my posts that are using VC. The content goes full width and the sidebar lays over the content.

Norman

Understood. Thanks for the fast reply 🙂

Hi Alin,

thanks for your reply. Yes, I know that this is possible. But I do need additional text at the bottom of the category page (something between 500 – 700 words). It would be great if you would consider creating a spot for this and include it sometime in the future.

Norman

I read in a different topic today that the update 6.1 is already waiting for acceptance at themeforest…so there is nothing tagdiv can do about it right now.

Hi Alin,

thanks for your reply. That is getting close.

What I actually meant was displaying only the overall score on top – so basically the “5 + stars + text overall score”-box with the whole review container from your screencast image.

Hi Alin,

thanks for the fast reply. Should the lists in posts also apply to the font size selected in the theme font for body? I just want the lists to be displayed in the same size as the rest of the content.

My posts use font size 13px, but my lists are using 15px and I just don’t know why. You introduced sooo many font settings in theme panel. Do I really have to use custom css to make the lists the same font size then the rest of the post?

Makes sense. I just deactivated the plugin. Hopefully there will be a fix soon. Thanks!

Thanks Marius for bringing back my reviews.

Problem is solved. For some reason I needed to move the css snippet to the top of my custom css changes.

Thanks for your help!

Yes, I cleared cache after both css snippets. Very strange, but good that it worked for you, hhealth.

Hi,

most of the font settings applied to my selections in theme fonts. but lists in format ul li included with visual composer are not responding.
