As far as I know Bogdan B. turned off the child theme but this not a solve. Does 9.7.3 works with AMP + child theme?

Guys! For the last time we tried to fight with a new AMP possibilities on 9.6.1 We’re going to give up unless you help us…

Once again: what I wanted to achieve? We would like to serve post as an AMP, and pages as an responsive. Why pages as an responsive? Because our pages its more than just a “text + picture” We built on pages something like “subject centers” and we need shortcodes.

I thougt from our earlier discussion, that only option for this is “AMP”. “Mobile” or “AMP + mobile” doesn’t give us a freedom to exclude Pages from AMP. I’m not sure if I understood you correctly; “AMP + Mobile” and “AMP” do not allowed me to exclude any pages even if Icheck this option in AMP plugin? I’m I right?

But I see no differences between “Mobile” and “AMP” settings – they work the same way. In “Mobile”, post and pages are just responsive so does “AMP”. The only option witch generate AMP is “AMP + mobile” but in this case we do not have chance to exclude pages from AMP style. You told me that before.

1) So the question is: Is there any way to publish post as AMP and pages as responsive or I need to wait for an update (do you even planned to do it?)

2) Also I would like to know how managed official plugin AMP for WP with template mode: native. With newspaper theme I am not able to change to set template mode as native. Default set template mode is as paired. 3) Last but not least… Many of us probably use a CleanTalk – one of the most popular anti-spam plugin. There is an interesting conflict. When I try to change setting from “AMP” to another, CleanTalk recognize this action as a spam attack and block it, so I’m unable to make any changes.

You see it because I’ve choose an option “Mobile + AMP” so there is a lot of post indexed by Google as an AMP. I would prefer to work with third option “AMP” only, but in my and my team opinion this option does not work properly. I would prefer it because in theory it allows me to choose post/pages, but as i mentioned before it’s not working. One of us is really wrong 😉 BTW… I use only your solutuion for AMP and have no other plugin for this. I’ll try onece again with an “AMP” option but it will be the last chance…

Guys! You’ve made a preety mess with the AMP. I wrote it in few topics. It took as a few days to understood, that now ist 3 headers; one for desktop, one for “Mobile + AMP” and one responsive. In our opinion third choice pure “AMP” doesn’t work at all. Our site now is set on “AMP + mobile” We had a lot of trouble with google analytics. Generally 9.6.1 is the worst update since I’ve remember.

OMG… I told you… when I set my site on “AMP”, my code wich was pasted in AMP plugin works perfectly. When I swich to “AMP + mobile” it dosn’t work. I’ve tried also to paste this code into Mobile Theme filed but nothing happend. Would you be so kind and check it for me? My site: https://radioklinika.pl Situation on this moment: for desktop I have GA code on my GTM. I pasted the second json code into AMP plugin and Mobile Theme. So in fact I have two kinds of code in 3 different placement… On AMO and Mobile Theme it doesn’t work!

Just to avoid duplicate topic… I’m pretty sure that GA code doesn’t work properly when “AMP + mobile” was chosen. I pasted my code directly to AMP plugin (not in Mobile Theme panel). It works great on “AMP” but not on “AMP + mobile. My site: https://radioklinika.pl (now set on “AMP+mobile”)

ok, i got it. Tell me please if there is any way to exclude from “Mobile + AMP” particular pages. As far as I see, even if I uncheck “Pages” from AMP option, there is a blank page shown on this URL. Looks like I must use “mobile editor” and duplicate my content. I thought that exluding particular pages gives me freedom, which means: all my posts is super fast serving from google serwer, but my pages can still using short codes, beacose its based on non AMP. I’m not sure if I made my self clear..

What about page speed? Befor an update was much faster. One more thing. what is the difference between:
1) Mobile+Amp – Displays content using the Mobile Theme on both mobiles and AMP
2) AMP – Uses the responsive version of the theme on small screen devices and Mobile Theme only on AMP.

I’ve got to admit I’m a little bit confused.

hm strange… When I was checking, this URL was serving directly from google server. Today it is displayed from my hosting. Problem appeared only on google serwer. I don’t know why, but today I’m unable to find any AMP url on my website serving from google server.

Guys, I do not have option “Custom fields” on post edit? How it is possible? If Checked filter of visible fields just to make sure it isn’t uncheck, but there is no option for “Custom fields” Do you have any idea what did I do wrong?
