Have same issue on my site. Using gutenberg with Newspapper 11.4. General modal image is unchecked. Can’t link any images. I don’t see a menu to add link for block image (normally seen on the bottom of right sidebar on editing post view) The only way is to add a caption link. Very frustrating. Very frustrating. Thanks. But how to achieve the same look to my page without standard pack? When I was building my website, I choose one of predefined templates which is not available in cloud templates. I understood that classic block should be replaced by flex blocks, but they look totally diferent. I switched for moment my site to work without standard pack and it is not only about shortcodes, my header and footer were colapsed on every single url on my site

excellent questions! I also would like to know it. Specially child theme is an interesting subject. As far as I know it is not recommended to using it with Newspapper theme. Am I right? I was expiriencing a lot of trouble with child theme and AMP, so since 9.7 I do not using it, but I miss it so much…
