Here’s what worked for me

For the Widgets:
Add the @ symbol before myID and save (ie. @myID)

For the area before the Footer (but in the footer settings in your Theme Panel):
Add the trailing slash after myID and save (ie myID/) note with no @ symbol

I agree it’s a little bit ugly to see the trailing slash “FOLLOW US ON INSTAGRAM @myID/” — but it’s OK for now.

Both make sense. It’s instagram’s fault. It’s happening with a ton of WP plugins.

I use “Insert Headers & Footers” which is nice, but there’s also the official one from FB (that you’ll see when setting up your fb pixel) or there’s Pixel Caffeine from AdEspresso which is nice if you want to run FB ads with pretty good targeting without being a facebook ads expert.
