The Instagram footer has been working great but this past week I have been getting a broken picture and it’s not showing the newest images anymore. http://www.superkaiju.com
I have the same problem. https://portalnegociosja.com.br
But in my case, the footer is also displaying the images in the wrong way.

I was about to post exactly the same!!! Can someone tell me how to fix it?!
Hi everybody!
The solution of this problem described here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/social-counter-and-instagram-problem/
EDIT: Nevermind. I started working after about an hour.
Tried that solution and now nothing is populating. Just the “Follow us on Instagram @” header.

So it started showing up images by itself after a while? For me after updating the code to the pastebin one, it shows only the “Follow us on Instagram” header.
Hi,
@swamplingman That fix should work for Instagram, the theme update released after the fix was provided contained the same code. The fixes were for the widget and a different one for the plugin. After you replace the code in the theme file for the widget, be sure to clear any caching you have, as well as CDN if used. Also clear the browser cache. Also if possible test with a different ID, see if images are displayed.
However it would be best to update the theme and social counter plugin to the latest version, if you use an older version. There were changes made by Facebook and Twitter as well, so they may not work with previous theme and counter. In the latest version there are no know issues with the socials. Here is a guide if you should decide to update

The FTP method is the most reliable and recommended.
Thanks
Here’s what worked for me
For the Widgets:
Add the @ symbol before myID and save (ie. @myID)
For the area before the Footer (but in the footer settings in your Theme Panel):
Add the trailing slash after myID and save (ie myID/) note with no @ symbol
I agree it’s a little bit ugly to see the trailing slash “FOLLOW US ON INSTAGRAM @myID/” — but it’s OK for now.
Both make sense. It’s instagram’s fault. It’s happening with a ton of WP plugins.
