I followed all these instructions and got everything working. Except my ad does not show on Desktop, only on mobile.

Yujp, I think they might have had different versions on the 2 options Themeforest gives you to download: “all theme files” and “wordpress installalle files only”.

Well, it looks like you have finally included the correct file. I dowloaded the theme package from Envato less than 12 hours ago, and it still had the wrong file, but just this minute, it shows the correct version of 4.3.5

Just running through the zip plugin files included in the theme, and the version of visual composer that comes bundled is still 4.3.4 instead of the new 4.3.5 version.

This IS the issue….

I just downloaded the theme files from envato TODAY, and it still has the old files.

Can i PLEASE get the updated js-composer.zip file that contains the actual updated plugin??

just tired it on another WP installation on a different domain I own… same issue…

I need some help with this ASAP or I will have to request a full refund, which is a shame, when this theme was working I loved everything about it.

If I am going to be forced to use 4.0.1, the I might want my money back.

Well. everything is still completely broken.

I even tried it on a brand new install of wordpress, same exact error. It can’t be other plugins, or any other settings, it is the theme/plugin which is the issue…

I really want this to work with the latest version of wordpress… It feels like i bought a half baked product.

Just updated the js-composer plugin following the directions from:

My Visual composer is still broken, showing the exact same behaviors as before: Trying to drag an column item bugs it out.

Should I update the entire theme instead?

NVM, read other topics about VC issues. I know what to expect now.

Just to be clear, to get the update for WPBakery’s VC I will have to re-download the theme files from Envato Marketplace once you made the update?

I assue it will have to be done this way, because in order to get updates fro WPBakery one must ‘register’ the plugin with them, but this one came with the theme.

Also, how will we be notified of a theme update? Through the WP update manager?
