This user did not write anything. So we are just showing here some random text to make the profile page look nice :)

Hi! Thank you for your response. I saw your comment in the other ticket. However, I am using the built-in shortcode for Advanced Custom Fields and it’s not working with any of the Pro features (such as the repeater field). I tried using the column text with the shortcode the way you mentioned and it just outputs the word “Array” instead of the content listed in the fields.

Thanks!

We are using the AAM (advanced access manager) plugin to restrict content based on user roles.

In the example photos above, looking at the breadcrumbs (Home > Asurion Connected Home All > Connected Home Take 10) – we’ve restricted content from the child category level and down. In this case, the child category is actually “Asurion Connected Home All”.

We have matching user roles to the child category that we built using AAM, so if I fall under the “Asurion Connected Home All” user group, I only see “Asurion Connected Home All” content.

The issues is we cannot filter content based on the grandchild category “Connected Home Take 10” and we would like to be able to do that. The “Asurion Connected Home All” user is able to view a post with the “Connected Home Take 10” if they have a direct link, it is only when we attempt to filter these post on a page when nothing appears.

View with Admin access

View with user role access

These images show how posts should be filtering, through the admin view; and how posts are not filtering, through the user role view.

We’ve restricted content based on user roles for this site, and in this example the “Connected Home Take 10” category filter is not working correctly for the user. If the user has a direct link to a post with the “Connected Home Take 10” category tag, they can correctly see the content.

The issue occurs when we want to set up filters to segment content based on the grandchild category, or “Connected Home Take 10” in this case.
