Hi Simion, thanks for replying. The issue we are seeing is that the video is not appearing in the post (we are aware of the thumbnail issue). Can you confirm that when you create a post with a facebook featured video that the post does display the video?

Hi, Is there any work around to make posts that were made using featured facebook videos without manually going in and adding the iframe? Is there any date for a fix so the featured facebook videos work again? Thank you.

Hi Catalin, nothing has changed on the sites, no updates to plugins or wordpress. I have also tested with clean site with only minimum plugins and it’s still a problem. In your previous reply to my other post you said there’s a change to the facebook API, can you please confirm if you can create a post with a facebook featured video and it works?

Hi Catalin, Thanks for replying. Embedding the video works fine, but we have hundreds of posts that have used featured videos and they no longer work. Is there a reason that featured videos isn’t working with NewsMag now?

Hi Simion, Thanks that worked for the video posts. We are still having issues with the featured image not being created for facebook videos only, youtube videos are working fine. Any ideas what could be causing that?

Hi,
We have started getting the same error in the last few weeks. It’s only on facebook videos not youtube. We haven’t upgraded our newsmag or wordpress version, and it was working.
