Header menu not showing its submenu on home page of my site - reply

Hi Bettina, thanks for the suggested steps.

I have what I think is a similar problem with my header / main menu, where the main menu is still on the site and it is possible to click on the 4 menu headings, but they are not actually appearing as they are ‘whited out’ to the same colour as the background.

It occurs both when logged into and logged out of WordPress.

It is only happening/relevant on desktop view, not on the mobile hamburger menu.

I have deactivated/reactivated all of my plugins, and found that the problem seems to be with the SG Optimizer plugin (Siteground).

Is there a known conflict, something to beware of, or settings to adjust?

It’s interesting to me that another optimiser plugin (Autoptimize) seems to have initiated this thread!

I will contact Siteground as well, but any further help would be much appreciated.

Newspaper version: 10.3.9.1 (though it was also happening with 10.3.9)
SG Optimizer plugin version: 5.7.12 (though it was also happening with 5.7.11)
