It is as if the theme is not reading the PHP.ini file, really weird. I am at a loss, nothing is working. All of these issues started with recent theme update. 🙁

What gets me is the execution time is being set properly but the max input vars is not. (I have checked for typos, ha was one of my first thoughts…)

Ok,

I moved everything over to the .user.ini file and no change, the max_input_vars is equal to 1000. This is really strange. I even tried putting this in the root, under the website, and in the php dir and the same, it is as if something is forcing this to be 1000.

I am at a total loss now. Before it was simply a matter of modifying the php.ini file. now this doesnt work with this new newspaper version.

I was able to get all of the variables set except the max input variables, it just doesn’t seem to want to take. I put this in both the PHP.ini and the htaccess file and newspaper is stuck at 1000.anyone have any other ideas what might be forcing this 1000 value?

So there is no way to actually modify the PHP code for the theme to include real.video links in the featured videos? Can you tell me where the code is for the theme that recognizes facebook, youtube, vimeo, and dailymothion videos?

I was actually able to figure out how to set the category for each section. So that was resolved …

Disabling the plugins did work. I was able to get the entire site working. Thank you.

There is one additional thing I would like to modify. On the website http://www.matsati.com, I have different sections “Bits of Torah Truths”, “Science and Spirituality”, “Random Thoughts”, etc. I want to randomize only the articles that have a particular category and not from all of the blog posts in general. How can I do this? For example, in the random thoughts section, it shows posts from Psalms and Bits of Torah Truths. I want to limit that to only the random thoughts catagory. Thanks for your help
