@Bintmusic Thanks for the tip. I had the same issue.

You are saying to google that the amp url is: https://mydomain/slug/amp/”

In fact, you should say to google the amp url is: https://mydomain/slug/

it’s why there are a lot of users that have errors in https://search.google.com/test/amp

Hey .

I have done a rollback , as many other people encounter the same issue.
I wait the next release of newspaper theme (maybe 9.7 ? ).

I think there is also regarde the tag <link> in desktop template.

I have :
<link rel=”amphtml” href=”https://mydomain/slug/amp/”&gt;

it should be
<link rel=”amphtml” href=”https://mydomain/slug/”&gt;

as described in amp plugin settings page :

Native: Reuses active theme’s templates to display AMP responses but does not use separate URLs for AMP. This means your site is AMP-first and your canonical URLs are AMP.

Hey,

I have the same problem : the sidebar elements disappear.

I add elements on a sidebar, I save them. The sidebar appear on my website.
5 minutes later disappear.
