So I can’t use the existing “subtitle custom field” anywhere else? Only in Module 1?

It’s the custom field “Subtitle” in Post settings used in newspaper\includes\modules\td_module_1.php

I want it to use in antoher module e.g. newspaper\includes\modules\td_module_9.php

For sure there are a lot of great ideas coming from the community. But often they are repeated because nobody know exactly if there ideas will be implement in a future update.

Don’t remember the topic for this: make a “preview icon” not only for gallery but for video, cite, link etc. too.

You said, you will have a look an will make the neccessary implementations, but for now, nothing happened. Please don’t missunderstand this.
I love the template and the support is really great! 🙂

But some community ideas seams to be lost in the flood of topics and I don’t know if these suggestions will be implemented in the future or not…

I think (and this was my suggestion too) there is a “misbehavior” in handling the megamenu for categories.
In the Newspaper Megamenu you can hover a category and the article (thumbnail+excerpt) will shown. There are only arrows to navigate to the next articles in the Megamenu, but no way to open the category page.
E.g. “http://www.therichest.com/” you can hover the categories and by clicking them the whole category page is loading…

But doesn’t it makes more sense, when I click on the category name, it opens the whole category page not only loads the category items in the megamenu?!

@betterretailing: Have a look at the funnction.php. There a some funtions deactivated for the visual composer.

@thomaspe: you mean something like a MegaMenu? Yeah, that would be cool. An own implementation of this or the possibility to use a Navigation plugin liek that.

What about several user suggestions? I don’t know how to handle some needed feautures such as
– slider gallery of uploaded article pictures (with optional captions) – not jetpack
– implementation of formats with icons for gallery, soundcloud, cite… not only the video template

Waiting for a official implementations or doing this by myself and fix that by every update?
Is it possible or needful to make a list here or somewhere else?

Yout suggestion does not fit. I have cleared it with css and floats.

The translation strings only works for the frontende, the missing strings are in the adminpanel for an article..

Ah, I think I can realize this with the “no sidebar” option, css and caption. 🙂

Same here. I solved it temporally with .td_data_time {float: left}. But it can’t be the gloabal solution cause it seems that noone else have this problem. (Maybe a german problem?)
