Hi Andrei,
Apologies, I had also meant to request your guidance on how to apply the M10 “article display view” layout to the tag template which defaults to M1. We use M10 on our home and category pages. Thank you!

Just to clarify:

1) This is in reference to the header leaderboard ad and a custom leaderboard ad I have set to the footer. The theme settings only permit 1 global header ad throughout the entire site but I instead need different ad code for the homepage vs the header on category, tag and post templates.

2) When ads are set through the theme settings they lack the label “advertisement”

3) There does not seem to be a theme setting to replicate the homepage footer ad styling to all other templates like category, tag, etc. What template edit must I make to get the homepage footer ad style to apply to the category template like this screenshot from dev.iraqinews.com:

Correct layout:
<!– copy and paste. Modify height and width if desired. –>

Current layout (incorrect):
<!– copy and paste. Modify height and width if desired. –>

Many thanks, Chris. It did not occur to me to regenerate the thumbnails after upgrading to a newer version of newsmag. Thank you for your helpful reply. I will regenerate the thumbnails in case that resolves the aforementioned issues.

Hi Alin,
This vanishing ad issue applies to my site as well. Add entries into the new custom ad fields and save them. Next, make changes to another Theme Panel option such as a category template setting. Save the change. Go back to the Ad settings and you will see that the ad code fields corresponding to custom ads 4 and 5 are empty. Really looking forward to the next update to hopefully resolve this issue. Thank you.

So as it turns out there is a minor bug in that the block numbers do not match those listed in the module directory /wp-content/themes/Newsmag/includes/modules. For instance, block 14 corresponds to td_module_mx1.php and block 9 corresponds to td_module_8.php. This discrepancy explains why I was having experiencing the issues as described in my initial post.

Pardon, I figured it out. Please disregard. Thank you.
