Hi Calin,
So, I removed cloudflare and Fast Velocity Minify and WP Optimize.
The only cache left is LSCache. That’s all. Nothing else.
In the Theme Panel, my mobile theme is set to Mobile + AMP.
In the AMP menu, the settings are:
– Website is checked
– Your install is configured via theme to use the Trasitional mode
– Supported templates: Posts, Pages, Singular and Homepage are checked
In Yoast AMP, only Posts and Pages are enabled.
But still, I have this bug on desktop:
https://ibb.co/qMQvCmj
https://ibb.co/hfb1TT2
How can I fix this once for all?
If we cannot fix this issue, is there a way to fully disable AMP?
Thanks
Hi Vlad,
Yes, there is still an issue, the menu is black on mobiles while it should be green.
Can you help?
Thanks
Hi,
Why don’t you answer my question about the black background on mobile menu?
WP Optimize caching is disabled.
I removed WP Super Cache.
So only Autoptimize is on.
Thanks
Hi Calin,
Wait, this https://ibb.co/fHkgfzb is the mobile version?
And this https://prnt.sc/pm2zsl is the AMP one?
Always thought it was the other way around!
Still have 1 problem: on the responsive version, the header is black while it should be green. I double checked my settings and the menu bar is set to green. So, what’s the problem and how can I fix this?
Thanks
Hi,
This cloud template header is such a nightmare that I went back to a standard one.
Header style 7 was showing a huge logo. I double-checked all the setting and couldn’t understand why. So I picked header style 10 which doesn’t look nice but well, do I have the choice?
Can you please fix this AMP problem?
Can you have a look why the header style 7 shows a huge logo?
I already sent you my website credentials. They didn’t change.
Thanks
Hi again,
You can see on this screenshot that the AMP version is showing a NEWSPAPER sticky menu…

Please please please help me to fix all these problems
Thanks
Hi again,
Here is a screenshot made on my mobile: https://ibb.co/Cnwk6pb
That’s definitely the AMP version and not the Mobile one…
Thanks
Hi Calin,
You can see there that everything is not alright: https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?hl=fr&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.mondeoz.com%2F&tab=mobile
Even Google picks the AMP version instead of the mobile one.
My theme is set to “Mobile + AMP” and actually I haven’t changed it since ages.
So I don’t understand what’s going on…
Can you help?
Fyi, I changed the DNS on Monday as I removed Cloudflare.
But I don’t think it’s related.
And the flash of text you can see on Firefox while the website is loading definitely comes from Theme Panel > Header > Logo & Favicon > TEXT LOGO + TEXT LOGO TAGLINE
Last thing: Lazyload was off and I definitely didn’t change that setting. I set it on again but I’m really surprised that a setting could change by magic.
Thanks
Hi Calin,
I’ve sent you my credentials by email as it would probably be easier if you look directly at the website what’s going on.
Thanks
Hi,
Yes it looks ok because your screenshot is the website fully loaded.
The problem happens while the website is loading.
While the website is loading, you can see a “flash of text” that disappears once the website is fully loaded. That’s the problem.
No, I was not logged in when I made my screenshot.
Can you help?
Thanks
Hi Calin,
All the settings look the same to me…
Thanks
Hi Vlad,
Yes, that was the problem.
Thanks
Thanks Vlad
Hi again again,
5/ There’s a “flash” of Title and Tagline before to be replaced by the logo. How can I remove that “flash” and make sure it doesn’t happen?
Thanks
Hi again,
It seems that the sticky menu now applies everywhere, probably a cache issue, my bad.
Same with the “Search” button.
But there’s a 4th problem:
4/ the typo is wrong. How can I have the same typo configuration than on the main menu?
And still the 2nd problem:
2/ The Search icon won’t go at the right like on the main menu. I double-checked all the setting but couldn’t find where the problem was. Can you help?
Thanks
Thanks
That was not my question.
How can I make sure that my background image (Theme Panel > Background) is always full screen on all screens and clickable?
Hi again,
To explain further the SEO issue, look at this SERP: https://ibb.co/7gm9KzW
The result I circled is https://www.mondeoz.com/page/2/
But, on desktop, my HP doesn’t have a second page. So it’s showing the content of the 1st HP. And so it’s “duplicate content”. Moreover, as it’s showing the 1st HP, it doesn’t include the Yoast Page variable (“page 2”) and again the meta title is duplicate (with the one of the 1st HP).
The reason of all this is because now Google indexes websites from their mobile version.
As Newspaper mobile theme provides several HP pages, Google indexes them all, even for desktop SERP.
Hope it helped and you guys will manage to find a solution for the next update.
Thanks
Hi Simion,
I pasted the code in the right place but it doesn’t seem to be working: https://ibb.co/vDtySYv
I double-checked my Yoast settings and everything seems fine to me: https://ibb.co/Cvz9kxY and https://ibb.co/XCdCMfS
Can you help me please?
Moreover, do you plan to fix it in the next update so we won’t have to change the code?
Thanks
