Thanks for the feedback, we have now solved the problem by editing some scripts.

For Newspaper you have to use a cookie plugin. Borlabs Cookies works very well and also fulfils the legal requirements of the EU, otherwise it works as well

I’ve already found it. The problem was that you set it for the icons, but not for the text that is shown when the icons are not loaded.

You can turn off the cloud files completely at Yoast under Display in Search / Content Types. The box at the bottom of the templates often doesn’t work. Then they also disappear in the sidemap https://snag.gy/7rs9wv.jpg

If there is a conflict, I already tested it, deactivated the cache etc.. , still doesn’t work. But since everything still works correctly, I’ll try it again with the next update.

I use the theme together with Nginx, so far there has been no problem

Error found, this was actually the server, it refused to clear the database cache.

So the system status is different only that we use W3C as cache and Nginx as webserver (both but no problem so far).

Well and the requirements, as described in the article, we fulfill without problems, otherwise the site would not work with Newspaper for years.

The problem seems to be deeper, we will take a closer look at the server tonight, because the new version works fine on three more websites, so I’m assuming that there’s an error caused by the server.

hm jep on the homepage only in the grid is a autor name and in the article is the featured image too high and covers the author (but i can only test with a lumia smartphone :D)

we have the same problem with Version 7 our server has to fight extreme since the update…

we have deactivated the cache for mobile user (with cache the website show the normal site not the mobile) and it works fine 🙂
