I had the same problem.
Just change the facebook ID to the complete facebook url and it works again.

What is the use of a child theme if it is not update proof?

You might want to add that i should use a childtheme for this?
Or can this be added using a php snippet using a plugin that add stuff to functions.php

Sorry, just realised that portfolio is not a default wordpress function but actually was part of the other theme.
Will use a separate plugin for it now.
