yes, i have content in the mobile editor but there is nothing shown when the phone is held vertically. the site is http://www.mindfullivingnetwork.com – it is not disabled at this moment however the other person who commented on this post is having the same issue so hopefully you can see/recreate the issue somewhere on your end? or else can u send me screenshots of a site with mobile theme disabled and then what it shows on a mobile device when held both horizontally and vertically>?

really need help with this.

when i disable the mobile them the pages only work if the phone is in horizonal mode. that can’t be supposed to happen… most poeple hold thier phones vertically. it should display the content. i understand if it was not formatted wonderfully – thats something i could work on from my end, but it simply doens’t show any content AT ALL.. only a white screen. how can i modify this so it at least SHOWS the page if the phone is vertical and the mobile theme is disabled….

please advise ASAP :/

PS, i manually re-created the side bar so it is on the home page bc we were getting complaints. but all the other pages do not show it and i need to know why…

i think it is… here is the exact same team plugin on another wordpress site that doesn;t use the newspaper theme: https://drkathleenhall.com/team-test/ it works fine…. if you click the image, the bio pops up. the only difference is the theme… please advise.
or tell me what is wrong with the first page.. beacuse it used to work with the old theme… it also works when i deactivate newspaper and try other themes…

Got it.. I have another question:

Is it possible to edit the code behind one of the grid layouts? For example, Big Grid Flex 6 – I want to change some of the smaller images to no longer use a category, but to show a random quote/image. I have this functionality, both as a third party plugin, and as a custom PHP page I wrote (I am a programmer)… I don’t see how the TD composer can let me change a block in the grid to a 3rd party shortcode, but if I could locate the exact PHP page that writes the grid out, I could figure it out on my own…

sorry, last sentence was supposed to be paid “theme” not plugin… but please advise on all points mentioned in my comment from yesterday afternoon… =)

can you let me know how much this will cost (ie, making this theme use (our existing) primary categories and subcategories), and how long it would take?

We also need to make sure that when we go forward with this that the existing categories we have will be carried over to the posts (around 3000) of them…

One last thing, what did you mean when you said “Yoast option won’t work either.”…None of our META tags or other YOAST SEO options won’t be able to be used on the posts?? If this is true, do you all recommend an SEO plugin to use with this theme? (YOAST is one of the top SEO plugins… I’m sure you must get this question a lot… Google says there are over “5+ million active installations ” of YOAST so if this paid plugin can’t use it we may have to get the refund like you mentioned…

I’d rather not have to pay a customization service just to GET BACK functionality my old (FREE) theme had – the ability to use YOAST primary categories… I just want the same ability I had before , ie, to be able to set parent/sub-parent categories… Please let me know what we need to do to get this working like it was?

thank you. yes it was very helpful. i have another question. not ure if i need to make a new thread or if i can just ask here… my old theme used primary categories. when i am testing out the newspaper theme, it doesn’t appear like any of them carried over. it has all the categories for a post, but it doesn’t not show what is the primary category… is there anything i can do to get it to notice m old primary category.. the site as over 3000 posts, so it is not an easy thing to go back and reset it post.

(i do see where i could set it on a post-by-post basis, but if i want it to use the existing field i had for the primary category.. how can i do that?)
