Updating WPBakeryVisual Composer? - reply

Hi all,
Radu, thanks for your replies and the support.

I may be missing something, because I can’t make Visual Composer to work.
This is what I have done:

  • Updated WP to 3.9.1,
  • Then Updated The Newspaper Theme to 3.8.1
  • Then deactivate and uninstall the Visual Composer, and replace it with the one included in the ZIP file. Installed and active.
  • Checked if the WPbakery folder was still in the Server – nothing – only the new one.

When I start a new page or modify an existing one… I never get the Visual Composer button.

Am I missing something obvious?

Thanks for your Reply.
I did not notice that my version was so out of date, I never got an email or saw an update in the wordpress home page.
That being said, to proceed with the update, should I upload the Theme as if was a new one?

by the way it used to work before the upgrade to WP3.9.

Hi
I’m having the same issue.
I’m using WordPress 3.9.1, Newspaper V1.2.
Have already added 

/** Memory Limit */
define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '128M');

and deactivated all plugins.
Still nothing.

This is a serious issue, please give us a straight forward solution, or even better an update that solves the problem.

Your help will be greatly appreciated.
