Erich – In case it helps, I worked with WPEngine to find a solution. Please see my post in this thread.

for current and future WPEngine users having problems getting TagDiv Composer to work, here are the steps I took with WP Engine to get the theme working :

1) When you try to use TagDiv Composer on a page and the you get a blank page (where the content is supposed to be), right click on the page, chose ‘inspect’, then choose ‘console’. If you see a ‘mixed content error’, you have a mixed content issue https://wpengine.com/support/mixed-content-errors-no-green-padlock-page/

Call WPEngine and have Tech Support add a script to their mu ( must-use ) plugins directory called : x_disable_wpesec.php

Inside this x_disable_wpesec.php file is some small bits of code that disables https on the wp-admin and login pages.

After disabling the https in the admin the TagDiv editor was working as expected.

I hope this helps with future and current NewsPaper theme users.

Yes, the edited page is blank. I don’t have any plugins installed except theme plugins.

I used WPEngine hosting. I asked them to make all of the setting changes specified in the ‘check theme system status’, and I still am getting a blank page when in TagDiv Composer.

Suggestions on what to do? Tx.
