Should I open a new topic about the custom code? I asked these codes everywhere for help on different fora and also here when I was an absolute noob and had zero knowledge and now I am a little bit more smarter at webdesign and also know what HTML, CSS, javascript and php is.

Now I want to clean up a little bit, but I don’t know what these codes do.

Could you help me explain what these codes do so I can decide if I should delete them or keep them? Or should I open a different topic.

All you do was to activate the both composers and your website was broken?, or you try to edit the same page with both composers? ( this will broke your website ).

Yes, I currently made the complete website in Visual Composer and had TagDiv deactivated. In the past when there was a theme update TagDiv Composer would automatically be activated and I had to deactivate it, because my website was completely fucked up. I still have this problem although no page has been edited with both page builders.

Please provide some screenshots or a link were I can see the problem, in this way I’ll be able to give you the proper answer.

Very sorry for my late response! I did not get an e-mail that there was an reply.

When I go to menu’s I don’t see mobile.

I always have the latest version of the theme, but I update it through the plug in. So I just click on ”update” and then the theme will be updated.

We cannot say for sure if the Tabbed Content will be or not added to our TD Composer, sorry!
Would be nice if you guys still kinda gave some clearance about this. Doesn’t seem that hard:p

You can try using both plugins installed at the same time but if you will create a page with Visual Composer you should not use TD Composer for that plugin. I have made some tests in this case and it seems to work as expected.

I will try to activate them at the same time and update my website pages with it. Of course NOT create some part with TagDiv and some with Visual Composer. I will contact if it still goes wrong.
This way when you guys have tabbed content on TagDiv I can switch easier to TagDiv instead of only using Visual Composer now.

Could you explain maybe one mor etime why TagDiv is more advises to use on your theme than Visual Composer.

Thanks for your reply first of all.

The reason I want to switch to TagDiv Composer is because you guys stated that the page builder is specifically build for this theme and it’s better etc. Also that Visual Composer/WP Bakery will not be updated or working well with the theme. Many reasons that I want to switch and I already switched to it on my sub-domain where my shop is on WooCommerce.

It would really help a lot if most of the Visual Composer possibilitys like tabbed content would also be available for TagDiv or atleast stated when this will be added. Could you give any info on when it will be included in TagDiv or if it even will be added ever?

Another thing, I always thought that Visual Composer and TagDiv could nót be activated at the same time? Or is it like you said, only not activate on the same page? I remember updating the theme which would cause to automatically activate the TagDiv plug in and my home page and Agenda page would be fucked up. This will not happen anymore?

Another thing, last day I was searching Google for a tabbed content solution and funny enough I saw a video that showed me how to update Visual Composer/WP BAkery without paying for the plug in. I remember I got the notification to update Visual Composer and every time I clicked on it I had to pay for the plug in. Now I saw this video and found this link and it actually worked lol. Holy shit it actually works lol. That so unfair, I also put this code in the beginnen and then it didn’t work hahaha. All this time the answer was afront of my nose.

But if I understand it right it’s a limitation of Visual Composer and that what I want is just not possible. Are you definitely sure about this? I do kinda see a few cm of the video on the other tabs and even the complete video on the first tab.

I just tried what you said. Created a new page, put the tab element on there, changed the tab title and put the video player with the video link. copied the text and posted it on my page where I want it…still doesn’t work.

I also tried to just keeping the tab element blank on the new page lik you said. Copied the text en osted it on the page wher eI want. It works. Then go back to the back end director to put the tab titles and add the video plater with the video links….and doesnt work. Still only showing the first tab and video and the rest of the tabs there is no video showing.

I still don’t get what you are saying. I have created a blank page and added the tab element like you said. Then you say add nothing extra…and then you say ”after you set it exactly as you want it”

Can I put the tab title and the video player on each tab or not?? After I have done the tab title and video player, or not because you say add nothing extra, I should go to the text mode and copy it and then paste it into ”the post content in text mode as well”? I don’t have a post content where I want this, I just want it to work on my page I sended you earlier.

So this is what I don’t understand:

Could you just be way more descriptive in each step, because it seems you are taking leaps and I am missing parts.

I have tried making the images in the post just a LITTLE BIT smaller and now it is back normal, but I stil don’t understand what you are saying. Can I just ask some things I don’t understand so in the future I don’t have to bother anyone with this problem. If I understand what the problem was it would be great.

So what you are saying is that the images are blurred because ”the source images size is too small”. But all the 4 images have around 718×1280 as original size so I don’t understand why the first is okay and the other 3 were blurred?

You also say to ”Make sure that the image uploaded in the Media library is of the required size”. What are the required sizes to upload a picture without being blurred then?

And as last you said”Then be sure to select the image size you want in the insert media into post” IS it bad if I just customly make the width and heigt of the pictures. Sometimes I want big and sometimes I want small so the small and medium option when I upload it is useless to me.

I did see now that making the picture a little bit higher made it HD. SO there is a minimum of width and height I have to deal with each time adding media to a post?

I still don’t get it completely. I lost you when you putted those 2 pictures.

IS the custom CSS code you gave me that the text comes in the middle of the box? I don’t really need that, but thanks anyway for the effort.

I had 2 more questions if you don’t mind:

– I am not so familiar with all the codes and websites and stuff so I was wondering what I need to Google or ask for if I want things like this? Should I just Google ”freelance developer” or ”freelance CSS”? And I also see HTML and Javascript should I also conside to find a ”Freelance HMLT/Javascript developer”?

-I also can’t seem the code to work when I put it on the Custom CSS box on the theme panel. Should I put it somewhere else or does all the CSS code ALWAYS come in that box on theme panel?

Hahahaha it still sounds hard XD. The video just doesn’t match with what I am seeing, but nevermind though. I did the automatic way and now I have this button ready, but I had a feq short questions about that:

– Does it delete my CSS code? That way I can just copy it and paste it after the update.
– How long does it take, because I tried it when I was in the library and it was taking a very long time. I decided to go to the dashboard and see the update button again and I had to do it all over again. If I know how long it takes on a average I can know when something is wrong when it takes too much time.

I don;t understand the ftp method and the video is also very bad. In the video what should i type in at 0:18? I dont know what ftp is and all of that kind. And when he is done witht aht you click cancel???

Could you explain it to me, because I dont follow it at all…maybe make the video better for people that aren’t that good with computers?
