Hi,

I am trying to add the code as specified here: https://youtu.be/Hxkvkr7aIGw?t=52s

but the instructions you’ve posted above aren’t clear enough for me to make the changes. I want to edit this page: http://www.tippingthesaddle.com/formguide/ This particular page is the ‘default template’.

does that mean that I have to edit both the page.php and all of the header-style-x.php files? and if so, where do I add the extra piece of code?

Please help,
Pete

I’ve already asked this question and found the answer here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/custom-code-in-the-headerfooter-tags/

Sorry for opening a new thread!

For those who need reference for the above problem:

“I’ve checked your site and noticed that you’re using an older version of child theme. I’ve deactivated the child theme and now your site it’s displayed fine: http://screencast.com/t/OQUgDXxms
If you want to the the child theme make sure you install it from the path downloaded from themeforest as we changed the system which enqueue the scripts iwith child theme: http://screencast.com/t/ZqF03pIRnC8”

PS. When I say formatting seemed to work, I could still see pieces of code like, [vc_row] etc, which I believe is all visual composer code that disappear when I reactivate visual composer.

Hi,

I deactivated everything (incl visual composer) and then cleared my cache (and browsing history) on Chrome and Safari. Then went to the site. The formatting seemed to work then.

When I reactivated visual composer (all other plugins weren’t activated), then the odd wrapping happened again.

have you had any other reports of visual composer having any impact on your themes?
