Altering the page source using the inspector I can see that the correct images more than fill the blocks.
If I disable the thumbnail size through the theme panel then it displays the warning to enable the image size in the specified block. All other blocks display their correct image sizes, just not Big Grid 4.
Post views have to be shown publicly for the module to work?
Ajax is already enabled.
I am not sure at what code are you referring so please provide more details about it or a link where we can access it, so we can take a look.
I’m referring to the native popular articles code in the theme. It doesn’t work with WPEngine sites.
AFAIK Jetpack Stats aren’t supported for NewsMag. There’s a code tweak for newspaper, but we’ve not seen anyone from Tagdiv recommend it.
We also have problems with the popular articles block though, the supplied code doesn’t work with our host (WPEngine) and they’ve yet to provide an alternative. Using Jetpack stats isn’t ideal, for one it doesn’t filter by type, which means pages including your home page, can appear in the results.
I’ve crawled through the source and it looks as though you only ever write the buffer out once when the first TypeKit is specified. I can’t see any code which checks if the specified JS has changed to update that buffer.
As an update to this, I’ve tracked the issue down to an interaction between your CSS when handling TypeKit fonts and default WordPress embeds.
On my test site I can re-style text without problem unless I use TypeKit, at which point the widget js no longer styles the embeds. Once I remove the Typekit font reference the problem disappears.
I’ve since verified that it is still a problem in 1.7.1, 1.7.0 and 1.7.1 both have the same incomplete file which the above replaces.
Correction, 4.1.5 is now being pushed with the same fix as 4.2.2.
Was this fixed in 1.7.1?
Wasn’t that the point of 4.1.3 and 4.1.4?
Only the latest issue hasn’t had a point release for 4.1.x and our host (WPEngine) is doing something application-level for customers to safeguard for the time being.
We’re at 1.7 currently, under 4.1.4.
The changelog lists 4.2 compatibility as being part of 1.7.1, I’m going to look at merging our changes in over rushing the upgrade.
In which case 1.7 isn’t compatible, glad I checked.
Going to take a little while to roll all of our 1.7 tweaks into 1.7.1
That’s the strange thing, with the default WordPress themes the comment counts from the Discourse plugin do show.
I can forward links to a sample site which demonstrates this.
I have example queries which will return VC code. Will email over an example.
Hi, There are problems with the Smartlist and TagDiv Gallery modules. Will you kindly look into it. I have just purchased the Newsmag latest version and installed. Please find below the links to the

So by default your customers will see visual composer code in their search results? You don’t filter this stuff out?
Those containers usually drop below the main image when my browser has any degree of zoom set.
That’s for woocommerce. Which Antivirus plugin flagged it as malicious?
Experiencing the same issue here. What was your solution Lukas?
