Use the child theme, for custom CSS.
If you have made custom css, on updates you will lose the modification, because you overwrite the files.

Install the CHild theme and add you custom css there in Appearance -> Editor

You can change the font from Theme customizer -> google font for some section. If you want only in some individual places you can change the font via CSS in style.css

If you use the Speed Booster plugin you have to change the theme color via style.css
Replace the default color blue(#4DB2EC) with your color, you can do this using a find and replace function from some text editor like Notepad++

A. We have that plugin tagDiv Speed Booster that improve the them speed but is in beta and could have compatibility issues. That plugin move the javascript bellow. ALso you can move it by yourself if you want.

B. You can try it, make a test speed with and without facebook sharing option.

Also you can use page cache enable from W3 Total Cache plugin.

The authors pages are dynamic generated. To go to an author page the link is yoursite.com/author/admin instead of admin will be other usernames.

In theme customizer on Template Option you can set a custom sidebar for Author pages if you want to display another sidebar for that pages different by default sidebar.

To edit the author information go to Users -> All users and from there you can edit an author, add social details, biographical info.
