Where do you use pagenavi? The theme have pagination, you don’t need pagenavi. Disable the plugin and see if works. Also what you can do is to disable all plugins or one by one and see if work.

Check in console to see if you have javascript errors, with Firebug on firefox or with Chrome inspector.

You can add condition for each category, post ID, page, etc.
