I’m having the same issue. I deleted the old td_composer and replaced with new as well as deleted the old multi-purpose plugin because it is incorpoated… ugh! I didn’t update the last 3 updates because everytime it is a huge hassle. I got rid of a bunch of plugins to avoid conflicts. This time I put my live site in a staging area so not totally urgent — but just more wasted time.

Thanks. Yes, I have seen the recommended plugins — there frankly aren’t that many of them tested with the theme. It would be nice to know what plugins other users are having luck with working with the theme. I’d still like to see that promoted on the forum – for users to list other plugins that work.

I just updated the td composer from the new update and it gave me a http 500 fatal error. I thought if I updated it before the 8.7 update that might help. Nope.

Ever since the rewrite with 8.5 I have been having grief with every update. Very frustrating.

I can guarantee that the theme was reverted back prior to you viewing it. Judging from multiple comments and posts on this forum I am not alone with this exact same issue.

Nope. I reverted my site back to 8.2. I had other issues on the site as well. The menu is messed up. I was playing in the theme dashboard and wanted to see what the social icons looked like in the menu — they placed under the menu with search. I toggled that feature off but it refused to remove it. I cleared cache and nothing worked. I did a back up of my site just before adding the update.

Problem not fixed is the short answer.

I have a multi-site and td_composer works fine. Must be something else going on.

I’ll second that and add that I have yet to even use I have always had a plugin compatibility issue with it so it auto disables. I will uninstall the offending plugin, only to have another plugin have an issue with it. I’ve been having that issues since Newspaper 6.

Thanks — worked that time. I forgot to put an end bracket on the previous css code.

I found that string css code earlier and I couldn’t get it to work. I tried placing it in the main custom css box as well as the mobile options and everything stayed the same.

When do you suppose a option will be created in the theme panel? My site is to go live by September and would like it done by then.
