is possible to for each category to have it sown banner but only in the sidebar, not in the top header.
here is how:

1) you need to make a custom ad for each category (take a look at the code that is
in the panel_ads.php)

by default, if you set a category as Mega menu, and this category has subcategories, then in the Mega menu for that category only the first 5 subcategories are showed, is codded in this way, and I don’t think it will be easy to change it.

the main categories are order alphabetically and ascending (A – Z), then under each category you will see the subcategories order alphabetically as well.

maybe you are making subcategories.

can you try also disabling all plugins then try again.
