Siteground tech said this: At this point, the issue does not appear to be with the update process itself, but rather with the plugin versions that should match the updated theme version. Why do I have to buy a second license for a staging site? I am making multiple changes to my live site so I need to use a staging site. It seems a bit much that you would expect me to buy another license for my staging site. The live site is the one registered. Is this true?

The site is highly customized. We are using a child theme.
