Answer is Here
Additional info:
is my shop page. I have one product entered. Why is it shown twice? Why is the Amazon ad, search bar, and category list shown? It doesn’t make any sense to me.
Okay. Look at Freedomite.com and you will see my sidebar has an amazon ad, a search bar, and a category listing.
Now look at my shop and you will see that those elements are below the (empty) product area. Why? And why is the product area shoved over to the left side?
My settings are: here. (Non Sidebar is a sidebar I made up that contains nothing.)
Thanks, Catalin. For anyone else wanting to do this, the proper changes are:
Line 343: $buffy .='<a>href . '" rel="bookmark" title="' . $this->title_attribute . '" target="_blank">';
Line 286: $buffy .= '<a>href . '" rel="bookmark" title="' . $this->title_attribute . '" target="blank">';
Line 343 is for clicking on the title.
Line 286 is for clicking on the picture.

Fixed it. Thanks.
Awesome. Thanks.
You can see the site at: http://www.freedomite.com. (You might get an SSL error until my SSL certificate propagates.).
Thanks,
Richard
For anyone else researching this, I found some plugins available from Plugins / Add New.
First I tried: Featured Image From URL. It was workable, but a bit kludgy.
Next I tried: WP Autoset Featured Image Plus. I like this one better and am sticking with it. To see how it works, just load it for free.
Richard
This works. Thanks!
This does not work. I even tried !important, clearing cache etc. I’m guessing the problem might be that the search bar I want to change is inside a Widgetised Sidebar.
Could you please also address the question about changing the background for the word “Categories” which is shown in the example?
Thanks, Richard

Just to be sure.
Sorry. I’m having some difficulty getting your img tag to show it.
It is here: https://imgur.com/a/NlD4H

Hopefully you’ll be able to see one of them.
Thanks, Richard
