There is a plugin– Custom Author Byline — that allows you to add a custom author name to the byline other than the logged in user writing/editing the post/page. Online newspapers have contributing writers and freelancers who write infrequently. I’ve used it for about a year now, but it does not seem to work with the newspaper 8 theme. How would one implement this plugin within newspaper 8? Is there a link to a manual that discusses your API? Thanks.
