Update: the loading time is an abysmal 20 seconds for the template! Please help me out, I invested a lot of time and money setting the site up and this issue is effectively killing my site.

I fulfill all the requirements for Newspaper and deactivated the plugins but am still having the issue on that one template. What else could be the issue?

I have the settings like in your screenshot, but I am still seeing the default demo logo. I don’t want any text, I just want my logo to replace the demo logo. How can I do that?

Thanks for the help. I was able to change a few things, but I still couldn’t make the footer clickable, so I had to remove it. I didn’t see a way for the items in the footer menu clickable? I upgraded to 10.3.2

Also, I’m not sure how to still change the color of the hamburger menu icon and search icon to be black now that I have made the menu bar white. Can you please let me know how I can do so? Here’s how the page looks on my mobile device: https://prnt.sc/rtgrm3

I finally figured this one out. The mobile menu and sign in/join background apparently still have that url there to the stock image. I removed it and problem solved 🙂

I’d also like to add that if it helps, the site is attempted to request the image no matter at page I try to load.

I can’t edit my post so I wanted to post a follow-up, because I think I found where I can upload a logo to replace all the default placeholders. However, I would like to change the Header bar from being black to being white, while changing the hamburger menu and search icon to black. Also, in the footer, it shows “About Us” and “Follow Us” but they’re not clickable. Where can I change the footer links?

Thanks, that worked! I tried following your guidance with taking out the shadows in the top right of the posts temple, where the menu is, but can’t find any place where the shadow has a gray color. Could you let me know how I can get that one out as well?

I’m surprised Pinterest isn’t one of the default social networks in the social counter considering it’s ranked the 30th most popular site on the internet globally and the 13th most popular in the US. I was looking for a resolution as to how to add Pinterest to the social counter and saw that since 2014 the statement made was that it was dependent on how many users request it. Is it not requested often enough to make the cut? Vimeo, which is offered as an option in the social counter, has a global rank approaching 200 and is steadily falling in popularity continuously yet it somehow made the cut? I’m a little confused.

I had the same issue as you and what I did was use the plugin ‘Regenerate Thumbnails’ to resolve the issue.
