Never mind I believe it is a plugin issue.. Its so annoying because it is hard to replicate the issue manually but when I think its fixed it comes back. I just deactivated a plugin, cleared the server cache and it worked fine. But then it still worked fine after reactivating said plugin!

Who knows…

Admin could you please delete my website from my previous post?

Hey,

I’m just coming back to this now. The link you gave only tells you how to stop it happening on my browser side.

The first time my site loads after I clear my server cache, it take a very, very log time (over a minute), none of the images load properly and it just says “waiting for fonts.gstatic.com”

Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

I’ve cleared the cache on my server just now so if you go on and have a look you’ll see what i mean.

Hi,

No that didnt work.

What I need to know is what width dhould an image be if I want it to place it inside a post on the boxed layout – so it fills the space.

I’ve chosen a particular size that seems to work for all of teh modules I need but…

What is the recommended image width for a full width image in post (boxed layout with sidebar)?

I checked an image I had put in the post previously and the theme had scaled into 696 x 333 so I created a custom image size and tried to reupload the image as the new custom size…

For some reason though when I select teh custom size it will not give me the correct dimensions even though the image perfectly fits those dimensions – instead it shows but the custom size will not show. Instead it shows a different dimension 640 x 306.

BUT when I check the image after inserting it the dimensions are correct 696 x 333.

I need to standardize the image so wp-retina can properly generate the retina version.

Any idea why this would be happening?

Thanks for that.

I was able to take this and make some additional modifications to do what was needed :).
