Changed permalinks now get 404 error & megamenu not showing all categories - reply

Thanks for the reply, the link you provided is just general knowledge on permalinks which I understand. This has to be a common issue, is there a fix after switching permalink structure to fix the 404 errors. Or per your article it suggests I use Yoast to setup a 301 redirect which doesn’t seem like the best solution. Any other fixes?
